Indeed, many feature requests received by the author describe features which are already present but are difficult to find.<a href="#ftn.idp56726992" class="footnote" name="idp56726992"><sup class="footnote">[7]</sup></a> </p><p> In an attempt to combat this obscurity, this reference guide describes every feature and configuration parameter of <span class="command"><strong>aptitude</strong></span>.
